Police say Marcus McFadden of Baltimore has been charged as an adult in the death of 30-year-old Eric Javonn Hill.

Kevin Anderson is the new athletic director at the University of Maryland.
Anderson has been Army's athletic director since 2004. He is the first African-American to hold that position at West Point.
Senior associate athletic director Kathy Worthington confirmed the hiring on Saturday.
She said Anderson will be introduced by the school on Tuesday, one day after Maryland opens its football season against Navy at a game to be played in Baltimore.

Craigslist has apparently closed the adult services section of its website, two weeks after 17 state attorneys general demanded it shut down the section.

Toddler Pulled From Pool Unresponsive

In Anne Arundel County, a two year old boy is hospitalized after firefighters say he was unresponsive as he was pulled out of a backyard pool in Pasadena this morning.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the home in the 7900-block of Tick Neck Road at around 8:30 this morning.
Relatives had spotted the boy in the pool minutes earlier.
They pulled him out, and began giving him CPR until paramedics arrived.
